What's involved when you train with me?

In the world of personal training, we are in the business of coaching and steering our clients towards clearly-defined goals that they have set for themselves.

It all begins with a fitness appraisal session where you and I sit down and discuss what it is that you want to achieve for your fitness goals, short-term, medium-term and long-term.

You will be given an Adult Pre-Exercise Screening form to fill out, to help me see if there are any health issues I need to be aware of before we proceed.

​

Once you're cleared for exercise, I will take you through a few simple exercises to get an idea of where you're at in terms of your fitness level.


Once the fitness appraisal session is over, I will create a personalised exercise program just for you, taking into account all the information I've been given. When you and I meet next time for training, you will be following this exercise program.


From here on out, this is where the hard work begins. You will now have to commit to achieving those goals you've set for yourself, and that means meeting up with me for training, making changes to your diet and lifestyle if necessary, and doing the homework that I will be giving you.

If you put in the required effort, make time for your training, and persevere regardless of the hardships and obstacles that come your way, then you are a winner and champion in my books.
